Wordtracker keyword trends…s*x VERY HOT skyrocketing in their long term report -

With that said, let’s talk about some trends I’ve noticed in Wordtracker which sends a weekly top 200 long term keyword report and a weekly top 300 short term top keywords searched on the Internet. I don’t think they allow people to sign up for the free email anymore, but they have been delivering it up until August 14th at least with some of the highest results posted below. Since it’s been over a week since their last report, I’m wondering if they’ve actually quit giving the report. They’ve been giving it to me free since June. However, I’ve noticed they’re starting to make things “paid” on their site. I guess they feel their list is too valuable to send for free now??? Not sure, I’ll give an update if not.
Also, just as a heads up, this list probably doesn’t give the most accurate picture, but at least gives us an idea of what is being searched on the Internet. The reason I say this is because I’ve checked with other sources how many times some of the top keywords are searched and found that there were some significant discrepancies between numbers generated by some “paid keyword software tools” and their list.
Onward to the evaluation nevertheless between lists on August 14th vs. August 7th comparing changes in the short term top 300 keyword lists and the lists from August 14th and the list generated on June 19, 2007 focusing on the top 200 keywords over the past 90 days (their long term top keywords list).
Top 300 surge report (last 48 hrs) - according to the site, these are the top 300 queries from the last 48 hours, which represents the complete queries from the largest Metacrawlers on the web (Metacrawler/Dogpile etc..) for the last 48 hours.
